Yeah, so I watched the first 14 mins or so of the NC State - Elon game, and that pretty much told you how the rest of the game was going to go.

NC State went up 7-0 to start the game. Elon clawed back to a 9-8, 1 point deficit on the strength of 2 three pointers.

Then, Elon started to play hero ball. Their PG who is the size of Sophia Vital or smaller, decides she is going to try and go 1 vs 5 to the basket against the NC State defense that is already set up, multiple times. Just really disorganized individual offense against a solidified team, and missed outside shots, with NC State running the floor on offense and getting the ball to the paint before Elon can even set up their D.

NC State goes on a 14-0 run before Elon can score another basket.

Just ugly ugly basketball, unless of course you are a wolfpack fan, then: great basketball.

It's silly to say the fourth game of the season is a must-win but Friday's tilt at Brown could actually be that important. Against a smaller Maine team we looked like we never played against a zone, didn't know how to shoot a 3 or use our height advantage. After two dominant wins I expected a much different outcome. Now we're playing another road game against a scrappy team that just beat Providence. Let's hope we see the team from our first two games.

I'll hear it. I'm with you that it's always been most likely the A10 is only receiving the AQ. Could something break to where there is an At-Large Team? Sure but highly unlikely. Just look at where the Bracketologists pencil in the A10 AQ - likely 12 or 13 seed. Bottom.

And I ditto this for MBB. AQ with rare exception. MBB also with 11,12 seed placement for the projected AQ.
