I thought JV was great. Effective, but unobtrusive...nicely done. Only weird part was, he still announced all of the on the floor contests.
Am used to seeing him on the floor for those, it was almost like he was doing them while WFH....

Agreed! Had a couple of York-ish moments (a little much on a player's name one time and the 1 minute left announcement; it'd not hockey and Yorke should never have started doing that in my opinion), but better than I could do and MUCH BETTER than Yorke! Give that man the job!

Tonight was THE WORST I have ever heard him. He crucified the names of some of the players in such a childish way it sucked the joy out of each one of those moments. It turned what should've been pure joy into a pure cringe and then frustration over the fact that we can not seem to resolve this issue. He needs to be shit canned immediately.
