James Mason is I believe 7-0
They have Georgia State still to play
If JM wins out, they still will not go to a bowl

Old Dominion this weekend, then Georgia State. 5 games to go for an undefeated regular season.
If JMU wins this Saturday that should move them to Top 25. JMU is Ranked 26th in both the AP and the ESPN Coaches Poll this week.

I don’t understand why a team moving up from fcs to fbs would be bowl ineligible. It’s not like they have an advantage as far as player talent. Now, a team moving down in competition, I can see a need for this until the talent matches the level of competition

Merrimack got screwed with it a few years ago, and (I think?) Bellarmine got screwed with the rule 1-2 seasons ago.

These teams knew of the rule when they chose two move up. In James Madison's case they could have and probably should have moved up to FBS 2 or more years earlier as opposed to crushing the FCS competition.Rhody15 wrote: ↑7 months agoYea I know there’s a rule, just don’t agree with it.ramster wrote: ↑7 months agoNCAA rule put in place. 2 years ineligible when moving FCS to FBS

At any rate, that's the NCAA President who is now run out of town long, long overdue. Charlie Baker has a monumental mess to clean up on Aisle 5, and 6, and 7 and 8.........Bad NCAA President's can do a lot of damage as can bad Conference Commissioners.
