The only money that means anything in an NFL contract are signing bonus and guaranteed money. Doubtful that he got a signing bonus and unlikely that any of the money is guaranteed.

Also, Gesicki has been working out with the wide receivers and not the tight ends. He is not known as a very good blocker. It seems they view him as a huge slot receiver. He's 6'6" and 250 lbs. and runs a 4.54 forty (Gronk ran a 4.68 and Kelce runs a 4.61). It'll be interesting to see how Bill O'Brien uses him.

I was at practice today and Ed was in uniform but didn't see the field. I figured something was up.
