Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Ill give you two hints:
Might take him a while to commit with his season not finished
Kenny and Duane are taking a backseat and letting everyone take their turn

I would guess CJ Fulton, but he just signed with Charleston.

I know, right ?
All these dis-info agents supporting Dino. Look at CamRams post on the last page - “Any hint?”
“Any” could be code for Ant - the two words are awfully close. Hmmm? Spill the beans CamsRams!

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Just look at KJ and Austin's recent follows on Twitter and IG. It will show you who they are recently recruiting.

I don't have either one. My wife has a IG account, that's about it.
That's why, when someone said they were blocked from Rhody Vault, just log out of your account. You can still read it.

If it’s not Lebron my next best guess is David Fuchs. It think he’s playing in Germany

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
That's who they have followed recently on social media. I don't know if they are offering him or if he's visited. The last visit I heard about was David Green.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Yeah it does look like he has been playing in Germany. Listed here in a 2022 article as a player to watch in Tier 3 of their rankings.
https://www.si.com/nba/draft/newsfeed/p ... bundesliga
A toolsy 6'8" forward out of Austria, Fuchs has an impressive ability to put the ball on the floor to attack closeouts and punish mismatches when he's defended by smaller perimeter players. Defensively he is able to use his size and length to bother opposing ball-handlers and contain penetration in the perimeter. Fuchs lacks high-level experience and hasn't been efficient as a shooter as of this point, but the combination of tools, defensive potential and ball-handling ability is definitely intriguing.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Fuchs is a very dangerous last name for a player to have with Dan Yorke as a public address announcer.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Apparently the author(s) think he has NBA potential. That’s what the article is about.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
True, but with a bit of a caveat I think. He is listed in the "more players to follow" tier as opposed to the other tiers which are "Projected Draft Picks" and "Potential Prospects". Better then not being mentioned at all though!KevanBoyles wrote: ↑11 months ago Apparently the author(s) think he has NBA potential. That’s what the article is about.

Very interesting Fuchs description. Beyond that…no comment.adam914 wrote: ↑11 months ago Yeah it does look like he has been playing in Germany. Listed here in a 2022 article as a player to watch in Tier 3 of their rankings.

Get him jersey #0 so Yorke can say Zero Fuchs.SGreenwell wrote: ↑11 months ago Fuchs is a very dangerous last name for a player to have with Dan Yorke as a public address announcer.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Sounds like someone Archie would be interested in for the defensive end, in particular. And, maybe take advantage of potential mismatches sometimes on the O end of the floor with his height and ball handling.adam914 wrote: ↑11 months ago Yeah it does look like he has been playing in Germany. Any video out there on Fuchs?

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Not much, but I did find this, although it looks like the competition might rival what you'd get at a pickup game at the local YMCA.

This might actually be the think that gets Yorke fired, once and for all.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
Well if you do more research look at see who’s his teammates are
Sagaba Konate and Brandon Paul
Fuchs bounces back and forth from the top German basketball and the second best, looks like he dominates with their B team, and stuck behind Konate when he does play on the A team

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
He bounces between the German First Division and the Third Division from what I can tell. That drop is seemingly very significant as he goes from averaging 3ppg to 16ppg in the lower division. That could be the equivalent of RIIL comp but who the hell knows.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
I will give the benefit of the doubt is that he does play in German 1 league as like a backup or third string which I think better than most college leagues, but yes their third division I would say is weak so I take it with a pinch of salt

I think the competition is better in my Thursday night league. But he looks very athletic and seems to have a nice shot...

So what's up? Is he visiting? And by the way, how do you pronounce that name?

I don't think anyone knows. We are going off of our coaches following him on twitter/ig so who knows how interested we are.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑11 months ago So what's up? Is he visiting? And by the way, how do you pronounce that name?

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
I would say there’s mutual interest and multiple of our assistants following and he following back I would say it’s a very good indication of him coming, only player that hasn’t been true is BuruBillyboy78 wrote: ↑11 months ago So what's up? Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
I have seen this name several times and it is always pronounced Fooks . Not that uncommon of a name. so is Dino going to confirm or deny this guy
is the person ? I assume if he is still playing that he hasn't visited yet .

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
He has skill for his size - I will give him that - and a smoothness to his game. But yea, I agree Stevey, not much competition in the video. I could play better D with my oxygen tank hooked up to me than some of those guys in the vid.steveystuds06 wrote: ↑11 months agoI think the competition is better in my Thursday night league. I’m so over the stealth train. Give me the hype train. I want Zags tweeting about us, Rothstein’s hyperbole, Rhody involved with high level recruits.
Instead we get posters trying to guess our next non-buzzworthy recruit based on which recruit followed back our assistants.
…and that isn’t meant to be a slight against any of the posters doing the social media sleuthing.

Re: General Visits/transfer recruiting
With Archie and the staff being secretive and very quiet about multiple recruits, there isn’t a lot of leaks anywhere like there was with Cox so there’s no media attention, looks like it’s more of a negative than a positive because you are right STC, no pursuing of hype train recruits or no leaks of hype trains = no pressSTC wrote: ↑11 months ago I’m so over the stealth train. We’ve known about every single recruit we’ve gotten this off season. There’s been tweets, posts, announced visits, etc.Dino611 wrote: ↑11 months agoWith Archie and the staff being secretive and very quiet about multiple recruits, there isn’t a lot of leaks anywhere like there was with Cox so there’s no media attention, looks like it’s more of a negative than a positive because you are right STC, no pursuing of hype train recruits or no leaks of hype trains = no pressSTC wrote: ↑11 months ago I’m so over the stealth train. There’s been no hype train because the new players aren’t expected to be All League type kids.

First you scold me for not giving Kortright his fair due, the 4th or 5th best player recruited, and then you say no one is expected to be All League type kids.
