Great win now up 2-1 !!

Rob W was great hope his knee can hold up

Less than 15 turnovers and Tatum 7 plus assists most often mean a Celtics win

Marcus Smart big night with 24 points and he was so physically tough on defense. Love to see us go up 3 games to 1 this Friday night!

Sad that the NBA has not come through for these ABA players who played the minimum 3 years to deserve benefits.
Not talking about a lot of money here but for some of these former players they have very little money.

Great call Ramster Smart is so much better when he takes the ball to the hoop and not take bad shots

Tatum Brown and Smart all @ least 20-5-5 first time that done in a finals game since the 84 lakers

Awful showing. Roster isn't ready, but they're close. Need to keep the starts and get more talent off the bench.

Disappointing end but future is bright - keep the core intact, Robert Williams get fully healthy, and improve bench depth….entire bench for severely outplayed by Poole alone

I like the Davison pick Reef. Considering Celtics didn’t have a 1st round pick, Davison is a good roll of the dice.

I like the pick as well - considering where they were drafting.

Williams is a nice add to. He may surprise somewhat. He’s a good rebounder. I am looking forward to watching some summer league games.

Kevin Durant requests a trade out of Brooklyn. Since it comes after Kyrie opted-in, I'm guessing the relationship might be strained there.

I see the Celts traded for Brogdon. I like the move.

Iirc, someone here or in the NBA draft thread mentioned the Celts were after Brogdon. I don’t recall who mentioned it but whoever it was…Excellent pick up!

Celts grabbed Golinari, too. Good bench scorer. They needed one.

I wonder if they are done or will make another move or two?

By the way, Gobert just got traded to the Wolves for essentially all of their draft picks, to pair with KAT. So, I guess we're going to see once-and-for-all if you can play two big men at once in the modern NBA. :D (Well, maybe. KAT can play on the perimeter - remains to be seen if he's locked in and focused enough to play hard defense every game, whether he's at the 4 or the 5.)

It was me Jdrums…………

I absolutely love this move by Boston!!! Was hoping it would materialize.

Brogdon was the 1st NBA Rookie of the Year that was drafted in the 2nd round since 1965.

Stevens orchestrated a steal on the Brogdon acquisition.

I’m torn on the potential Brown (plus players and picks) for Durant trade. Durant is great but he’s pushing mid-30’s and has plenty of miles on those legs. Plus, Brown is only 25 and seems to improve every year.

What would y’all do? Pull the trigger or not?

Supposedly Nets wanted JB Smart 3first rounders and another rotation player that I wouldn’t do

Toronto outscored Boston 38-20 in 4Q and 15-9 in OT

Dowtin was in during much of 4th and OT. He scored game tying bucket in 4Q. Jeff was +16

Jeff’s 5 assists was team high

https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/toronto-ra ... 022100502/

From SI.com

3rd Unit Battles Back
As for the actual game, the Raptors overcame a sloppy start thanks to a huge comeback from the team's third unit. Dalano Banton, Jeff Dowtin Jr., Josh Jackson, D.J. Wilson, Khem Birch, and eventually Gabe Brown, led Toronto to a 51-26 run in the fourth quarter and overtime courtest of some big-time buckets from Dowtin and a pair of three-pointers from Jackson and Brown.

What a player. Only 23 years old.

(CNN) Luka Dončić put up a historic triple-double in the Dallas Mavericks' thrilling 126-121 overtime win over the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old recorded a career-high 60 points and a career-high 21 rebounds to go with 10 assists, helping the Mavericks come from nine points down with just 33 seconds of regulation time remaining.
It is the first time in NBA history that a player has reached that stat line.

too close to black then...c's should be green and white....that's it. Plus, you're at home...I know teams all over are doing it, but they should just stop.
