No way he goes all the way down to Mt Saint Mary’s.

Also, those two guesses are worlds apart. Don’t know how you settle on those two drastically different schools.

Only reason I did becuase both of those schools are close to home for him and the only two I could think of that he could easily get a waiver for

There are plenty of smaller D-I schools in Virginia and Maryland that would probably be interested, even with the baggage.
SG, I don't think he has to transfer down, he proved he can play at this level.
Not saying he won't moved down though.

Maybe he pulls an A10 Trifecta and ends up at GM.

Every coach feels they can correct an attitude and teach defense.
Bray has offensive skills that will attract many schools.
Some might say that “he proved,he could not play at this level.

Those some are wrong.

He was on the All-A10 Rookie Team, and pre-season selected to the All-A10 3rd Team by the coaches.
No denying the kid has lots of talent and scoring ability.

He does have talent. But he's a 2, not a 1. He's also a pretty good shooter, not a great shooter. Don't you think he's too small to play the 2 at a P6 school?

Not 100% sure of that.
Towards the end of his 1st season, he was playing PG at GW and did average almost 4 assists for the year.
Maybe he tried to take too much on himself here because we didn't have many scoring options and very little production from our frontcourt.

But even if he plays the 2 his quickness and ability to get to the rim can be an advantage offensively.
Defensively there could be an issue, much depends on the makeup of the team at PG and wing.

I think he'll be eating a lot of balls at the rim against the bigger teams than what we have in the A10.

Thus far he's a high usage volume scorer without a true position. He also requires the ball to be effective.

It's a similar profile as Fatts but Fatts had stretches where he showed he could play PG. He finished his Rhody career with 30 assists over his last 4 games. We never saw that ability from Bray.

Someone will welcome him to their team...but anyone who looks beyond the stats should have pause.

I'd imagine he ends up at another program at the lower end of their conference standings and just trying to stack talent.

Thank Will Lauder, he’s a rhody fan on Twitter who’s first to almost everything rhody recruiting wise, including Foumena and Rory last year where there was nothing on them to where if Rhody is included in any article or any tweet I see it from him

Interesting that Archie and staff are now considering grad transfers, glad they are looking at the best available players regardless of their year.

Also I see that Georgia State just had 6 players enter the portal today.

I think we need a separate thread for guys that WE are involved with to be able to keep track of all of these guys, or even a separate section like recruiting has. With the portal, we're probably going to see as much activity and names, if not more, than we do in recruiting

Think Archie is a really good coach but don't agree with him at all as far as not taking 5th years. You add two 5th year bigs to Leggett and Cary they are competing at the top of the A10. Also if he dosen't and I'm Leggett I'm outta there.. No kid wants to play four years and not even sniff the tournament.

I think the problem with the portal and specifically proven players transferring with 1-2 years remaining is twofold for us. 1. They want to win 2. Show me the money. We are going to have to continue for the foreseeable future go after the ones that didn’t pan out and hope they do for us.

Yes, exactly. Keep, recruit Ish to stay. Reality is that Thomas likely to return as off bench PG. for me no loss if Stewart, Alex, Hutch leave. Let Bilau, Fourmena find their way here. Let coaches evaluate needs assessment and target those from transfers, portal, grads etc to fill the gaps. I guess I will read the remaining stuff here in the off season. Out, thanks to you all for the hours and hours spent here. Go Rhody

I think we can still get solid players from some weaker conferences, think only the all conference will chase that money, look at Dae Dae Grant for example

The problem is that this season was terrible. We are not going to get a high end transfer to come where this is no momentum. I am an Archie fan but he possibly F’d up going after so many “younger” transfers/recruits this year. Should have had more Bilau level experience players on this team. Now we have to hunt for more Bilau level guys so we can have a decent season next year, to get the impact transfer the next year.

Like I said above anyone can get a decent transfer, like look at Duquesne and look at Fordham got decent transfers but they were predicted to suck out loud

Yes D611, Duquesne's entire starting 5 are either previous jucos or transfers.
Fordham also picked up some impact transfers, that team is certainly on the rise, and they don't have the same investment in the program as us.

So yeah, we should expect much more from Archie and this team for 23-24, then how they performed this past season.
No more passes for this staff, we need to see some results.

However, the NCAA did tighten up the waiver rules this past January.
They will be much stricter in allowing immediate play for multi-transfers.
I also believe the same waiver rules will now apply to grad-transfers, if they previously changed schools.

Oh, we need all our coaches to be good at evaluating talent? We all didn’t know that.

You post the most obvious comments of all time lol I find it very funny.
You are a sanctimonious piece of shit, who will waste everybody's time posting insults about other posters. The epitome of a keyboard warrior.
