Albany doesn’t have a good record but they can put points on the board. The QB is going to be a good one for them down the road. He can throw and run well. The RB is a bowling ball with legs that has some speed. He’ll be a problem for our D.

Would not be surprised to see a URI letdown in this game after the way they lost at UNH. With a playoff invite now pretty much a long shot and a winning season already assured, there may unfortunately not be all that much to play for this Saturday.

This is kind of similar to the soccer team's slide. Meaning, they're probably closer to a .500 team, but they won some closer games instead of losing them. They only have two wins by three or more touchdowns (Brown, Stony Brook). Given that there are frequent complaints about conservative game plans on here as well, though, that could be part of the issue as well. As someone who now gets to see Texans games weekly, coached by the patron saint of playing for a field goal Lovie Smith, I understand that frustration...

Just passing on the article, that’s all. Don’t necessarily agree with it. I think it’s a very long shot.

We need to beat Albany strong. It’s why I said weeks ago we needed to beat Maine strong since we were 15.5 point favorites.

Our bad loss to Delaware hurt - lost by a couple touchdowns.

We need UNH to lose badly at Maine, need Delaware to lose. We need to win big.

And that likely won’t we enough but at least give our best shot.

In 2018 the CAA got 6 schools in including a 6-4 (4-3) Elon team. Last year when I looked it up it was basically a coin flip whether a 7 win CAA team got in the playoffs or not, with 8 being a lock.

We might not have the top end team like a James Madison, but the top half of the conference this year is as strong as it's ever been and is the second best top half of any FCS conferences. William & Mary, Richmond, and Elon are all definitely getting in the playoffs, and you've still got a week of games to be played

Congrats on a really enjoyable regular season! Program has come so far! Happy for those Seniors who are leaving Meade with a win and truly hoping for that bid tomorrow. M. DeShields is a tremendous talent and has really put together a memorable season. So many players have contributed to this total transformation from CAA laughing stock to Top 5 program. This staff has done an outstanding job and should be commended. Those players have put in the work and earned the respect of the league! They should be congratulated! I'm extremely proud to have that Program and those players and coaches represent our University.

How many balls got throw Warren’s way? Watched the whole game and don’t remember 1. Did see him make a couple good blocks on some Deshields runs. Jones has gotten burned no doubt but aggressive CBs tend to. He also has 32 pass breaks ups in 2 years which is a pretty impressive number. Still doesn’t excuse his mistake last week but full body of work he gave us a nice 2 years.

They said in broadcast 8 CAA teams have finished 7-4/5-3 and 6 of them have received bids. So there is a chance.
