I will be watching at home with my 10 week old, who will be wearing her URI onesie as she is now getting indoctrinated into the URI MBB family.

I met Don Kaull for the first time last night. I said, are you still calling the games? I'm a big URI fan. He said no, he had to step down after so many years.

I started doing my best Don Kaull impersonation to him, I said "Antonio Reynolds-Dean took the ball to the floor, tried to go back up with it and was met by three Temple players." He just smiled and said "Antonio Reynolds-Dean..."

I told him it was really great to meet him, he gave me a fist bump and said he hopes he can make it to one of the games this year.

CFL was emBARONSing

After the URI game at Quinnipiac (last season?).. I waited for CFL to come out of the locker room to do radio post game ... There was the chooch.. Walking diagonally across the court to the radio press table.. About 50 ppl left inside the arena.. I was so infuriated after watching his "offense" where they all stood outside the 3 point arc w/ their hand up "I'm open.. I'm open.."..

So, as he walked across the court I give him the Bronx cheer "hey baron.. Great offense..".. Then slowly clapped

That made me feel better as my Sicilian blood was boiling over at the time !

Today we start the long road back to relevance.
First time back in RC since pre Covid. First bc of the actual pandemic and last year bc of a pandemic of an unlikable team and sinking ship.
