Re: Give TODAY! URI Day of Giving 2022
This has really become a very successful fund raising tool for the University. In April of 2019, they raised $785,644 from 2158 donors. Athletics received $291,000 and men's basketball $25,181. Yesterday they raised $1,668,797 which is more than double from more than 3,000 donors. Athletics received $694,773 and Men's basketball received $59,356 from 125 donors, plus a $5,000 bonus. Football was top as it had two donors that gave around $150,000 for a total of $198,326 (161 Donors). Women's basketball for the second straight year received a six figure donation and received $173,745 from 166 donors. A very good day yesterday, I am encouraged by the Men's basketball donation and really have to appreciate the large donors that are giving to football and WBB.

Bill Koch @BillKoch25
13h
Football ($197K) and women's basketball ($170.5K) dominating among #URI athletic programs thus far on the school's Day of Giving.
No others currently above $60K -- quite the spread. Nice turnout by folks supporting those two. #Rams
