Only Yankees and Houston have a more favorable Run Differential than Boston.
After today Sox have 4 at LA Angels and 3 at Oakland

Last nights game for you NYGFan!
Sox are now in the Wild Card with last nights 5th straight winning 1-0.
Michael Wacha with the rare complete game throwing 106 pitches to move his record to 4-1 and his ERA below 2.

That was Wacha 2nd career CG shutout last one 2017 with STL
Wacha has been an amazing signing with a 1.99 ERA

Sale should be back by the end of June , let’s keep Hill as the 5th starter and move Whitlock to be the Jack of all trades reliever

Pivetta been dealing. Phils gave up on this guy to Sawx benefit.

Sale, Paxton pre trade deadline acquisition equivalents in the wings. Things looking up. Cleveland certainly no cupcake one of hottest teams in MLB. A strong weekend and then on to a month of AL East iron.

Bloom get SS and 3b locked up to long term deals!!!!

Go Sawx!

6 straight wins
Six now leader in the Wild Card Race
Love Duran. Sox were slow to bring him up but kid is owning the lead off spot. Gives Sox first 4 hitters all over .300

Refsnyder also hitting great

A lot to like about Duran but that CS with Raffy at the plate was painful. Big picture not a lot to complain about with this team at the moment, though. Too bad the Yanks ran away from the pack by so much because it would be fun if they were climbing back into a division race for the summer, but this definitely looks and feels like a playoff team which it definitely didn’t for the first month of the season.

After losing the 1st 2 games to the Yanks, Boston takes the last 2 to split the series
Sox were down 6-2 in the 3rd last night only to score the next 9 runs to win 11-6.

Wtf is going on with this team? Tailspin City. I’m not sure why this is so much more of a thing in baseball than it is in other sports but it definitely feels like the contract sagas with Raffy and Bogey have this team in an absolute funk. The idea that they would get cute with these guys and not just give them market deals and that would in turn cost them not just ultimately the players in the future but an entire season when they should be contending with those guys still on the roster is infuriating to me.

Has Cora lost the clubhouse? Really weird…lotta guys doing stupid stuff and occasionally outright doggin it.

I don’t think it’s Alex. The problems in the clubhouse are with the guys upstairs, not the manager’s office.

I think it’s ownership to blame first and foremost, seems they care more about the bottom line right now and don’t want to spend.

If we lose both Bogey and Devers that’s unacceptable

Honestly it just feels like they were beating up creampuffs and now that they're back to playing the AL East teams we're seeing their true level. That, plus injuries, and some contract issues and here you are
