Re: ’20 NY PG Hassan Diarra
His brother Mamadou plays PF for UCONN. He was highly recruited out of Putnam but has an issue with his knees. He sat out his Fr year. Only avg 3 ppg last year. Will be a RS Soph this year.

Any word on if Rhody is in on Hassan - sounds like he is having a good year at PSA and rankings have been trending up.

Why isn’t Rhody “hard” after Diarra if Dayton and VCU are?

Re: ’20 NY PG Hassan Diarra
couldn't agree anymore. this is a point guard who is rising, plays in a tough prep circuit and still in our reach - we have to be going after kids like this especially with our needs at PG. i'm not sure who they are tracking in the '20 class but mind boggling that this kid isn't at the top of the list.

Maybe the staff prefers Taleon Martin.

Re: ’20 NY PG Hassan Diarra
A few things on Hassan’s recruiting.
He seems to be trending towards a Wing player and not a PG.
Hoggard was playing PG.
His brother plays for UConn.
His recruiting has picked up with P5s
Offers from Texas Tech & Georgia
Strong interest from UConn, Providence, Nova, Pittsburgh, West Virginia

A 6'2" wing? I can see the lack of interest then.Rhody83 wrote: ↑5 years ago A few things on Hassan’s recruiting.

Re: ’20 NY PG Hassan Diarra
The point was teams play 3 guard line ups. They did say he is playing small forward.
He can easily cover the opponent’s SG if they have a more traditional lineup.
