As expected

Don’t really wanna take the time to look, so I could be completely 100% wrong, but I highly doubt Rhody Vault tweeted the Archie news before Pete Thamel.

Also, there was that one tweet a week ago that originally said Johnson would be coming aboard here before any other person/account tweeted it.
Yeah, this person seems to be trying to manufacture credibility to help build a social media following
Does it really matter who broke it first.
What counts is that he is in.

If you haven't seen his stuff he's interviewed all the greats - Kenny, Silk, Tommy, Tyson, Delroy, Penders and more.
Oh he’s been absolutely tremendous with content, but no need to lie and claim you were first on news when there’s literal time stamps on tweets.

Yeah. Kinda weird to take claim to that when it doesn't seem to be true.

Every sports insider hopes and tries to be first in breaking news.

When people just lie and claim to be first when they clearly aren’t, that’s a tough and bad look.

I haven't gone back to do the research on when the Archie or Johnson news broke.

I don't really care that much, because there is always a little uncertainty until the official announcement is made.
Just ask UMass or Arkansas when they were about to hire Dana Altman.

Rhody Vault must be ECR... If so I do appreciate the intel. However being humble is always good. As far as the being pretty outspoken about not bringing back an alumni to the staff, I would disagree. Almost all Rhody fans love all of the guys he mentioned. We are forever grateful to what they brought to the program. However I'm in favor of Archie bringing in the most qualified staff we can get right now. If that includes alum great but if it doesn't oh well.

The time is now.... Go Rhody !!!

There it is.

Rhody Vault saw Thamel’s tweet, tweeted it himself minutes later, and is now claiming he broke it first.

Just can’t do that. Terrible look.

(Which does not take away from the tremendous content he puts out.)

15, there is a difference though.

Thanel said they are targeting Archie, which many of us would have figured once Cox was fired.

Vault was much more specific saying he will be named the next head coach, announcement next week the latest.

There is a big difference between the two tweets. I barely care about this but for you to call him a liar is a bit much.

Just stating as a fact that what you want to happen will happen is not a “scoop.” It’s maybe like “manifesting” or something. It’s also why the phrase “even broken clocks are right twice a day” exists. Media people do this too - maybe not with what they want to happen, but they just take stabs based on rumors and conjecture without actual corroboration because the ability to say you “had it first” is worth more in this dumb media landscape than getting it wrong costs you.

The Dan “needs a veteran Coach” bit was always one of my favorites. He literally has had a veteran coach in his ear since birth.
I think one of my favorite resent posts by people was Bozeman was going to be a cure all for Cox and the team.

Guy looked absolutely lifeless on the bench 95% of the time.

You are quick Rhowdy. Was just going to post the same about Mr. Sander. Was he currently employed at Indiana or is that an archive listing? It looks like that is a current position as I clicked on roster, go to coaching staff and he is listed as the current director of operations. Good for Arch getting a guy that he likes and trusts as his right hand man.
