An early TD guy from Newport, who went to URI and was a member of the 1985 Yankee Championship team. He went on to get his masters at RIC then his Phd at Howard, and he returned to URI and was a long time professor and became Assistant Dean of the College of Arts & Sci. Have heard from numerous people at URI that was a very kind guy to work with and was beloved on campus. Very sad loss for the URI community.
His family have asked in lieu of flowers that people send donations to the TD program at URI which I thought was a very nice tribute.

Earl was a great guy. Always fun to be around. Way too young.
It hits home when classmates start passing. Not getting any younger.
God Bless
