Re: What happened to Jerrill
Who's Jerrill? Do you mean Jared Terrell and are making some weird combo of his first and last name?
Bleed Keaney Blue!

Jerrell Coleman? Our former grad assistant turned director of player development?
Didn’t think anything “happened,” why do you ask?

Did not notice him at the last couple of games and he is no longer listed on the website.

Taylor Swift mentioned this 4 days ago

I also heard that Jerrell Coleman has left the coaching staff. He was a team manager ever since Hurley's first season (maybe second?). Complete class act this guy is. I sincerely wish the best for him.

I was told he resigned but I do not see his Instagram or Twitter updated.

Probably sees the writing on the wall and wants to get ahead in searching for a new job.Taylor Swift wrote: ↑2 years ago I was told he resigned but I do not see his Instagram or Twitter updated.

Re: What happened to Jerrill
Unless for personal reasons or family issues it would seem odd for a DBO to leave a program mid season. Maybe another opportunity came around or maybe something else?

Poor guy had it when Cox asked him to be this year's lead scout for Bones Hyland.

It’s from November, 2020 but I remember reading this and thought it was worth sharing again

Remember this. He seems like a great kid with a bright future - not great if he's resigning.ace wrote: ↑2 years ago It’s from November, 2020 but I remember reading this and thought it was worth sharing again

Not sure what he brought to the table from a basketball/coaching perspective, but as an individual he seemed like an asset. If he's moving on by his own choosing that could mean an indication of things to come - or an indication of problems behind the scenes.

It’s a gigantic red flag he left. If it was some tremendous opportunity he would have announced or waited till the end of the season. Red…. In fairness it could be a personal matter, family issue or any host of other reasons that are unrelated.

Re: What happened to DBO, Jerrell Coleman?
I'm kind of leery about airing speculation about why someone has left the team. If he comes out and makes some kind of public statement on social media about it, that's fair game, but otherwise I think we should keep speculation to a minimum here.Taylor Swift wrote: ↑2 years agoMy knowledge of his departure says otherwisebigappleram wrote: ↑2 years ago In fairness it could be a personal matter, family issue or any host of other reasons that are unrelated.

I thought the vast majority of this site is speculation.SGreenwell wrote: ↑2 years agoI'm kind of leery about airing speculation about why someone has left the team. And FWIW I met Jerrell once at the Coast Guard House after I started going to games in 2016 and thought he was a fantastic ambassador/representative of the program.

Sure, but it's typically not about the employment status of (essentially) someone in a support staff or admin role.PeteRI wrote: ↑2 years agoI thought the vast majority of this site is speculation.SGreenwell wrote: ↑2 years agoI'm kind of leery about airing speculation about why someone has left the team. Good to hear he's a good guy. At this point though, speculation would probably be more interesting
