With all the air balls and turnovers we look a lot like my son’s 7th grade team. We are just awful.

Amazed how frequently Mitchell's get blocked at the rim. They make flashy dunks when there's nobody in the way, but they don't dunk over anyone.

Cox wasn't aware he was down to one TO, I bet.

Then somebody on the bench should be fired. There's somebody who goes to the scorer's table at every time out to check how many remain.

I agree with you 100%. He is a nice bench player as an eighth man on a good team, but I think we are so desperate for any type of talent since Ish hasn’t lived up to it that they are trying to create a local superstar.

Exactly. Maybe he develops his game and turns into a starter, but that’s not who he is right now.

Carey should be the first guard off the bench. Thomas isn’t ready for this type of environment. He was having issues with Dayton’s length.
Do you mean Carey should play the most minutes out of any of the guards?

Ish is a complete bust this year. He was the one guy that this program and the fans were hanging their hats on to carry the team over the next few years and take them to another level and NCAA berth. Pipe dream. Don’t care if the whole roster left with Cox. Maybe Walker would get more minutes with a new coach

I would normally be really upset with another close loss.

Nope.....

Hey, we're making progress, we didn't blow a lead!

We just find a different way to lose every time......

The turnovers are insane.....such a disciplined bunch......

It;s OK though, Cox stays on schedule to be fired.

We need to end up below .500 to seal the deal....let's get it done.

Define better? Sheppard is an exponentially better shot creator and scorer then Thomas. Our offense is already so one dimensional with 3 of our best players being big men. Now you add a guard who can’t shoot

Not saying much considering where Sheppard is at. Another huge disappointment. It can’t hurt to play him though and get him 20-25 minutes game to see what he can offer. What is the difference.

When was the last time Sheppard had 8 assists?

Also Sheppard shoots under 40% from the field this season.

In our biggest possession of the game Carey took a step back fade away three. Just like ya draw it up.

Cox is throwing spaghetti at the wall in terms of player combinations and it’s end of January.

When you surround Thomas with no real outside threats and 2 big men you basically take away his best ability (penetration and find people). He should get PT he’s just not being put in the best spots to succeed. But he had zero to do with us losing tonight.

He is a much better scorer than Thomas. That is a fact not a debate. I don’t care what the player did for me the last 10 minutes I care what he’s capable of in the next 10. Thomas in his current state isn’t capable of scoring to take over a game, Sheppard is

Thank you, this is my entire point. I don’t dislike Thomas as a player, but this team isn’t constructed with shooters. So taking away your very few shooters for a guard who can’t shoot makes no sense
