I remember when some said Jeff Dowtin wasn’t a point guard his freshman year. Wouldn’t surprise me if Thomas takes the starting position the rest of the year similar to what Dolly Cairns has done on the WBB team and what Jeff did his freshman year.

I would be shocked if Thomas takes the starting position the rest of the year for any reason other then injury. Don't think he's there yet.

I couldn’t disagree more. I think the offense runs much smoother when he is running the point.

Fair enough. For me I think the issue is more that El-Amin and Sheppard are essentially the same type of player and neither of them are really PGs. I didn't mean my initial response as a knock on Thomas at all really, he's been a pleasant surprise. I'd still be shocked if he took over a starting spot outside of an injury though.
