Georgia vs Alabama

Unread post by OBRAM »

Why did it take so long for Georgia to put more pressure on the Alabama QB, with blitzes? Georgia didn't do this until the 2nd half, by that time the game was almost over.

It's the same thing every year with Georgia; they have trouble with the really big games. Could very well see a rematch in the final.

I think it will be Michigan vs. Alabama...and don't bet against Saban.

I like Michigan. Best wolverines squad I’ve seen in a long time.

Yep. Georgia has fallen on their faces in the most important games. They lost this one too. BUT, all can be overcome if they win the CFP.

Georgia and Alabama in the National Championship

Both teams dominated their opponents, 3-seed Georgia easily over 2-seed Michigan and 1-seed Alabama dominated 4-seed Cincinnati.

Strength of the SEC was on display today.

Cincinnati gave Young trouble with their blitzes at times during that game.

I figure Georgia will do that too, much more than they did a few weeks ago.

I expect the title game to be a close one.

Honestly surprised Georgia won vs Michigan that like they did. They looked awful vs Bama. I think Bama wins again.

6’7” 330 pound OL Sophomore Xavier Truss from West Warwick plays for Georgia.

Truss played at Hendricken so I would guess Sebastian Thomas is rooting for Georgia tonight.

Pick 6 seals it for Georgia to go up 33-18 with only a minute to go.

Two outstanding teams

Xavier Truss just gave a big hug to UGA QB Bennett on the sideline in this final minute of the game on national tv.

National Championship for Xavier!!!

Georgia made the key plays, Alabama did not.

It was their time.

Of course, guess who is the favorite to win it all next year?

Alabama. What a surprise!

Kind of hard not to slot them in at #1, given how great their recruiting is, and because Saban can coach. He's always had lots of talent on that roster, but plenty of SEC teams have had talented rosters in the past 20 years too. Kind of like Belichick, he always seems willing to adapt to the talent on roster, vs. putting them in positions they can't succeed in.
