We were only favored by 4.5 points on the road and game went down to a last shot to win at the buzzer. Not the degree of disaster to me that most here see. Playing on the road is dangerous and the reason most P6 teams avoid Road Games like the plague. They will go to neutral and inter conference challenge games but not true road games. I think we learned a lot at Ft Myers as a team and coaching staff. Must win the A10 anyway for a bid.

As far as I am concerned it was a very bad loss. I feel we have a much more talented roster than FGCU.
Overall, I was very disappointed with our Florida trip and give us a D grade.

Agree. There is a reason we were only 4.5 point favorites. Tough loss, but on the road is tough.

They have struggled since Michael Fly got promoted to HC in 2018. Yes they had success under Enfield and Dooley but not lately, middle of the pack ASUN conference.

I saw a team on par with GW, La Salle, and Fordham. We are a mid level A10 team which is why everyone can’t believe we lost to a team like FGCU. Honestly, I don't care. The bottom line is we are not good enough.

Georgia State looks very bad without their best players.

It's a different look this year than in past years. The Mitchels are high level players and would be on any team, really. After that, you have a bunch of players sprinting down the court and really doesn't appear to be any sort of plan, just wing it.
