Unfortunately losing to Duquesne in the Semi-Finals doomed us to having no shot

Not even sure if we beat Duquesne and lost to SLU in the Championship game would we have been selected - but Duquesne certainly sealed it.

It is like the basketball tournament. A-10 teams always seem to be JUST OUTSIDE the line for selection. Meanwhile, the Big East places fives teams.

I fear URI will receive the same treatment next weekend with the FCS football bracket.

No shot. The only scenario where A10 gets two bids is if St. Louis would have lost. A10 is a one bid conference.

Exactly right. Losing to Duquesne meant zero chance. And we would have needed to bear St Louis as well.

There was zero chance of a bid today.

I disagree. their RPI is higher then two others that made the tournament.

if they beat Duquesne and lose to SLU, they make it.

but it doesn't matter, on to next season.

Better RPI doesn’t matter. The tournament caters to the big conference teams. Just like basketball. Fuck the mid majors

With Thorr on the FCS committee I doubt we get jobbed. We might not get in, but it will be because we didn't do enough to get in not because of committee shenanigans
