After starting off 3-0 and 2-0 in conference, New Hampshire got killed 77-7 at Pittsburgh and is now 3-6, 2-4 in conference.

If you subscribe to the theory that we're good in good weather and bad in inclement weather the early forecast says there will be a possible shower or two early with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and a high of 57

Might not have liked our facilities, coaching staff, wanted to branch out and play out of state, more playing time at their position at UNH, etc etc

We currently have some nice in state players who are making contributions. Jaylen Smith is a great story and has really stepped up this season. Mallay and Gavek have made solid contributions to a much improved secondary. Andre Bibeault has been a very solid contributor and leader for this program and has come up with some huge plays the last few seasons. Riendeau from Narragansett is a redshirt freshman who has played in games and is the next tackle up. I think Coach Flem and staff will have more success keeping the best in the state here if we continue to grow as a program.

Beat UNH and the Elon game is for a post season invite?

We also have better players at their positions. Not every kid that leaves the state is a Rhody miss.

Weather now looks good for Saturday.

UNH looks to be in freefall....but they always play us tough, just like Maine.

I agree that we probably have to win both our remaining games.

I think we will win Saturday, but Elon?

That has me worried.

I watched the Albany game, they play hard and are well coached. Like us, they were without 2 running backs. This is going to be a much harder game than UMass…UNH won’t quit like Mass did.

Yikes just saw UNH has lost 6 games in a row.

Gotta be able to get it done.

If we can get out to a quick lead you gotta think UNH won't have much fight after that. 6 game losing streaks usually aren't too good for your confidence.

Extra point kicked into the street...some kid grabbed it...tossed it to another kid who ran away with it. First guy ends up in handcuffs and taken away.... I guess Rhody really values the football? What's up with that?

I saw the two police cars but didn’t know what was going on. Wind is strong that direction so extra points really carrying. How can they arrest someone for that?

Meanwhile Jaylen Smith is having quite a day. 21-3 Rhody now.

Completely different looking team the last two weeks. 1 win away from what should be a playoff berth. Let’s go Rams!

I was up by press box East stands so I could see the police cars (SUV’s) event well from up there, then moved down closer to field in the 2nd half as it got colder and more windy.

Then moved to field level when we had it wrapped up.

Funny to see lights on for a 1pm game but the weather changed a lot from this morning.

Jaylen Smith has come a long way in a couple of months. Looking really good. If Kevin Brown comes back healthy next season, that'll be quite a duo at running back for the next 3 years.

Great Win this afternoon! 7-3 with one left for the playoffs. Great season with so much trending in the right direction for this program. Hoping this group can put 4 more quarters together and have that opportunity. Jaylen Smith has pretty much rescued the season. With Antrum out his play making ability has saved our asses.

Defense was great today and if we can continue to generate pressure and our secondary can hold up we stand a chance on the road. It is awesome that we are even in this position! Congrats to those seniors who leave Meade as winners on there last home game. Congrats to the staff for turning this thing around!

And that’s not even including the other FR back from
Purdue who was highly regarded.

The other kid who played in the 4th quarter today, Sloat, is a freshman too. I think he had 28 yards on 7 carries today.

Zero percent chance they get in if they lose their next game. If they win they might get in. They haven’t realky had any big wins over the good teams

Delaware is 5-5 I doubt anyone gets excited about that win when deciding on a playoff berth. They are not a good team. It only matters what there final record is.
