Re: 2021 Baseball
College baseball especially is challenging ... Pitching attrition is everything in these settings. Regular season you may play 3 games over 3 days, one of those may be a double-header, but you get into these postseason settings, advancing often requires playing 4-5 games in 3 days and then turning around the next week and doing it again. You need to have the pitching to hold up. You may be able to steal a game or two but if your 3rd/4th starters/relievers are throwing batting practice, you're doomed...

Re: 2021 Baseball
You need good relief pitching especially when you have lead late in game and pressure is on the team behind. You have to capitalize on that if you have championship callber.

Started off good but then it all fell apart quick fast and in a hurry.
Was probably our only chance to win this thing.

Season over. Lost 3-1 to Dayton. Dayton scored two in the top of the first and Rhody countered with one in the bottom of the first.
Rhody threatened in the ninth, with runners on second and third with two outs, but a ground out ended the game.

Justin Willis pitched in two of our games with UCONN this season. He got the win in a 3-2 UCONN victory on March 27.
Fortunate to be alive. Crazy story.
