Free Tuition for RIC but Not URI?

When CCRI tuition became free RIC had a large drop in enrollment. This was evident even before the pandemic. It basically destroyed RIC. I know people who work there and especially during the summer of 2019 the campus was deadville. URI Foundation was created to give scholarships to deserving students who could not afford tuition. I think URI should be very concerned about how free tuition at RIC will affect URI, I would say it will have a bad effect. Remember Turbo Tax is free, free, free, free, but you can't do squat with the free version.

"Free tuition" means someone is paying for it.

I think it's time for RIC to shut its doors or become a school where people go to become teachers. That's all they got.
