I'm actually driving to the RC and had to pull over when I realized...
This is the first home game of any kind since Jim Norman passed.
He had 18 years without missing a game, and then some!
And he won't get a moment of silence...

Maybe someone can text Thorr or Dan Y or Steve...

I knew Jim in the mid 70s when I worked basketball concessions in Keaney. Always had to stock the Fast Break Club before the game.

Carey out with leg injury tonight if it hasn’t been brought up already. This is the type game where he would have been very valuable.

Bigtime trip down memory lane after they just mentioned the last meeting between URI and Seton Hall (16 years ago). Was standing right behind the hoop when Dawan Robinson hit that game winning 3, and experienced my first court storming shortly after. A similar result tonight with a larger margin of victory would be ideal.

I would expect their defense to tighten up. And we are shooting awfully well outside the paint. Water always finds it's level. We are going to need to muster a little more offense down low.

As good as the defense has been, every basket they’ve scored has been a complete breakdown. Feels like we’re either all over them or they’re wide open. Nothing in between

Dear God Harris. We were up 14 when he came in.

He had one good move to the hoop - and has missed nearly every defensive assignment and forced the team to catch up and leave wide open shots.

Great kid. Good bench piece. But he cannot get major minutes if we want to go anywhere.
