Not looking promising but its still early. Need to find any form of rhythm offensively. A few good possessions in a row because right now its painful. Not to mention we are getting shredded defensively.

We can't handle their aggressiveness at all so far.

Fatts has to know that with the short notice, ASU is focused on him being our best returning player. Just don't try to do it all, it feels like he has very capable teammates right now.

I thought we forced Fatts back in the game when the tape will show Legget settled in and was a solid part of cutting into that lead. Some of our players haven’t flipped the switch from pick up basketball to actual big game college ball. Can win if we get smart. !!go Rhody!!

Steve said that Tres Berry was likely a redshirt. It is hard to follow the reasoning if this year does not count against eligibility.

Solid final 3 minutes of half.

Granted ASU has 2 elite players but touch R Martin at all he shoots foul shots, kinda hard to defend.

So...given the fact that URI has committed a bunch of fouls & turnovers in the first half with some really sloppy play for at least half of the 1st half, I'd say they're doing pretty good only being down 7 at the half, given all of that. If Johnson hit a couple more free throws, this game is within 5 or 4 at the half.
This team looks like they could be pretty lethal once they start to gel & clean up some of the small stuff. One thing we don't seem to lack thus far is perimeter shooting. Now URI just needs to find a way to get guys open & stop fouling Arizona St all the time.
