They are still waiting on 3 transfers not yet eligible, their stating PG is out from shoulder surgery and had a freshman tear their meniscus 2 weeks ago. They have 7-8 healthy players and 4 are freshman. They also cancelled their game on 11/25 against NJIT.

This sucks. Temple has effectively screwed URI twice. Rhody couldn't play Va Tech because the tournament could not have same AAC conference members Temple and USF play one another. That eliminated VA Tech as an opponent for URI.

A Temple fan on their forum is opining that Temple backed out of the URI game due to player personnel issues. They may only have 8 healthy scholarship players available. Four of them may be freshmen. The Owls therefore didn't want to play URI within 24 hours after having played Va Tech.

Honestly, who cares about Temple? They are just a team to beat this year, they don't project as much of an opponent and the conference they're in doesn't matter if they are lousy at the game. This is not even a little bit like pee cee duckin, despite our time together in the A10 (URI and Temple) there is no rivalry and Temple has had less success away from the A10 than they had in the A10. The AAC is just the A10 with a little football sprinkled around.

I think both teams should be open to play a second time. This is our schedule now, but I'm sure both sides realize we're not likely to play every game currently scheduled, so get in the scheduled games you can when you can.

You could squeeze a game in between Boston College and Western Kentucky but after 6 games in 10 days I'd think you'd want to schedule some rest in there. Obviously that calculation changes if you play BC Thanksgiving, cancel the game at their place, and then have 5 games in 8 days with 10 days off following. With a reading day of 12/15 and exams 12/16-19, 21-22 you have maybe one game you can sneak in the weekend of the 26th and 27th as well. It's a tough situation of balancing maximum scheduled games and making sure the team has rest. We know games on our schedule won't be played but we don't know where and when those will be and we don't know if it's going to be because we have Covid issues or the other side does

Does Rothstein have newer info or did he never get the memo about San Francisco? He's pretty plugged in, so I'm confident on what I have for the 28th, but yeah, I'd put an asterisk on the 29th

Ok so I'm going to make a few changes on the back of this Bill Koch tweet. Moving Arizona State from 9:30 to 7. Before I simply slid us into Baylor's spot, ESPN must have decided to swap game times with the Villanova-BC game. I'm keeping the South Florida game time as is for now, because that's currently the time listed on Mohegan's Bracketville site, but it's not super up to date, so consider that time a placeholder more than anything. If not 5:30 it should be at 8. I'm changing Virginia Tech to San Francisco. He says we will play BC twice if we end up with them on Thanksgiving
