Yes, very solid. Who was the 7' 3'' guy? I don't recall.

Proof that there's no need to go after a guy simply because he's good at being tall.

There’s a difference though, This kid has proven he can contribute at the D1 level while Vedder was an incoming freshman.

Reached out to some locals, hearing it’s between ODU and VCU. Not sure how reliable the info is, yet.

ODU and VCU would be my guess. Move up in competition and better conference than he is in with opportunity to play. The Mitchell’s and Harris make it a little tougher here.

Any big coming in from a lower conference has big shoes to fill. Hope he keeps VCU competitive.

Makes up for the loss of Santos Silva but certainly doesn’t fill his shoes

Almost as surprising as Toppin's move. He'll probably wind up at Duke or UNC (just kidding).
This is a big blow to VCU's competitiveness.

nope...just announced he is transferring. judging by the VCU board, he announced on Twitter and didn't tell his teammates.

If Toppin can end up at Kentucky, wouldn’t shock me in the least I if Santos-Silva also ends up at a blue blood.
