Seems very explosive for his size. Has good rebounding and point averages for limited minutes. Bring him in. Experience and size can’t be taught.

Yeah I would love that. Think chances have to be good with that happening. And after everyone calling kingston on fire additions of abou berry and the twins would be exactly what the doctor ordered to bring the fans back on board.

If this scenario did play out I could see walker and toppin getting alot of minutes as a 3/4 and alot more minutes on the wing.

Fatts sheppard leggett wood berry as 1/2
DJ johnson walker toppin as 3
Walker toppin mitchel twins harris as 4
Mitchel twins and abou as 5

Make us a little longer and bigger team a la st louis this past year.

Yes. But the perception was that they were only going P5.

Wow pulling the twins and them immediately available would be insane.

It would support my theory that our level will be ok in a immediate eligibility world. I rather have the Martins of the world transferring to P5 and legit NBA prospects transferring to URI because they want to dominate.

I loved Cyril, but that aspect of his game made him a burden at the end of games.
There is an opportunity to improve that aspect of our team.

So with the recent commits of the twins, Abou, and Martin (And Berry is not commiting here anymore due to Martin)

Who are we pursuing the hardest? I guess my question to Rhody83 or DC Rams is who would you expect to fill the last spot?

Gage...Murray...another?

Maybe Cox wants to keep a scholarship open. That often comes in handy. If not, my guess is Gage as Cox builds an experienced roster that can play elite D.

I think there is a few factors. I like a guy like Mounir Hima who is 6’11” at center but will be a project. Likely redshirt. That will keep the height train going in the right direction and allow him to get practice with good bigs. However, if the transfer rule doesn’t pass, Malik would have to sit out so we would have to get Gage. Since time is the variable in all this I think it would likely be Hima.

I am liking the current state of affairs. Hopefully the new transfer rule gets approved and we can keep this team mostly intact going forward. Find a stud guard for 2021.

They can’t save the scholarship.
They need someone who is immediately eligible. Either a Grad Transfer, JUCO or a Fr.
There is a chance that the three transfers have to sit the entire year if the proposed transfer rule doesn’t pass.
You can’t take another sit out transfer and risk starting the season with 9 scholarship players.

You almost want a Grad Transfer coming here with experience and is competent but at the same time has the understanding playing time may vary widely depending on the transfer situation. Really need a team first guy, maybe someone who excelled in a small conference and is fine just latching on to a better program.

I was thinking more big picture what they will need to add to the team in 2021 after Fatts and Sheppard are no longer on the team. I have no insight as to what Cox will do with the remaining scholarship. I am really happy with this roster. I am not a fan of small ball and we will not be playing it.

Anyone see Manhattans 6’7” Christian Hinckson is transferring, he shot 45% from 3pt. If Gage doesn’t work it’d be nice to have a knock down shooter.

Hinckson is intriguing. Great shooter, and swiss army knife that comes off the bench and can play multiple positions.

Add to that the fact that he is best friends with Malik Martin.

I'm looking at the old Christian Hinckson recruiting thread from when Dan was coach. In some ways, this would be like getting a second shot at Bones Hyland, the kid obviously wanted to come here, at least when Dan was coach.
