The guys who ran the simulation of the A-10 Tournament are now putting together a simulation of the NCAA tournament. They are going forward with a selection show this coming Sunday the 22nd and games will start next Thursday the 26th. Rhody is in the tournament by virtue of them winning the A-10 simulation that they ran. I know it's all pretend but at least it's something. Those interested in following along give their Twitter page a follow. It's here where they post the latest information and the links to the games as they become available.

Rhody is a 12 seed "playing" (5) Ohio State on Thursday at 9:20pm on Channel 2. Spokane Regional, because why not? Chance of an Oregon rematch in round 2 if we get the upset. The youtube channel links are in the comments of this tweet:

Other notable matchups: (1) Dayton vs (16) Boston U in Cleveland. (8) Providence vs (9) Oklahoma also in Spokane. Winner of that plays Gonzaga. The only Hurley who makes it: (7) Houston vs (10) Arizona State in Sacramento.

Pretty cool how they do that. I got hooked into watching 10 minutes. Will have to check back on it. Realistic also on offense with no movement in half court.

They have to do quarters because its an NBA game that they can plug all the stats and players into. Luckily they can adjust the time to 10 mins to make 20 min halves. Notice there was a tie up in the first half. They had to do a jump ball not alternating possession.

Rhody wins 75-67. Had a 17 point lead in the second half cut to 3 late but hung on for the win. Dowtin has 27 points I believe. They get Oregon on Sat. Funny that Hammond checked in late.

It was fun to watch what this team was capable of. Too bad during the game all you heard was this guy was transferring and this guy is transferring.

Ha, I'm generally one of the outliers here in that I root for all the A10 teams whenever we're not playing them AND I root for PC. I'm not a townie and am not really rooted in the rivalry like some of the older folks (class of 2012) so I tend to just want to see all our opponents due well. A rising tide lifts all boats, IMO. And a Dayton tourney win would be extraordinary for the whole A10. And Obi is exactly the type of player who could deliver this.

Dowtin and Cyril get a chance of revenge against Oregon dating back to 4 years ago. Payton Pritchard was among that roster who eliminated URI in the tourney.

87-62 loss. Scored 10 points in the last 10 minutes. Highlight of the last 10 mins was Eric Dadika getting in for some garbage time. Tournament will still be fun to follow from afar but I won't stay as invested now that Rhody is out.
