We're also the highest seed remaining in this simulation. The first semi is (9) VCU vs (5) SBU, and we're playing for the right to face (7) Davidson who just beat (2) Richmond.

Tugging at my heartstrings some more. My friend and I had said last weekend that he and I were going to be heading down to NYC for the finals tomorrow... hopefully we can have an end of season banquet this year.

He's shown the rosters and teams ratings. Seems pretty fair unless there are other settings he could be changing.

That was more fun and more realistic than I thought it would be. Glad I tuned in. Shit. Last sports game I played electronically was baseball on Atari.

As much as I was enjoying this in an absurdist comedic way during the game and on some level I am thankful that we got at least this, it also just really drives home how bad this whole situation sucks. I mean, sure I was not convinced heading into this tournament that we had much of a shot. But feeling the joy I felt watching us win a fake game with fake stakes that means nothing in the real world, it kind of forces you to realize what we are actually missing out on today (potentially) and that is bittersweet to the point of being depressing.
