They had their Blarney Blowout today. It is an off campus event for St Patrick's Day that has a lot of student drinking. There have been near riots in the past. Back in 2014, the party got out of hand and 70 people were arrested. Hopefully most of the students are long passed out by 7pm tonight.

Remember when posters were touting Fatts, Jeff and Cyril to be all-A10.
Offense is talent, defense is attitude.
Will Harris play like a man or a boy?
UMASS has more of a future than URI.
Cox is fairly paid and that is the problem.
Is Fatts, Jeff or Cyril playing better this year than last year?
URI and UMASS are trending in different directions.
I'm a disappointed fan.

I think this team is going to be measured, going forward, on what they can accomplish with the limited opportunities they have left, game-wise, for this season and what they can build on for next season. I think I both fronts, the beginning of this game has been positive. Especially compared to some of the slow starts they have had as of late.

I’m not certain why any team would really try to press us - force us to run a half court offense we suck. We have guards who handle the ball well and can break the press easily.

idk, if this game is any indication, the losses of JD and CL taken into consideration, if we add Sheppard, Leggett, Wood, the twins... and either keep Long or get a pure shooter, it could be Bingo, right back in business next year.

I was really impressed with how well we were sharing the ball in the beginning of the game. Last few minutes that has disappeared entirely.

The last puzzle piece this team always needs is a pure shooter. Haven’t really had a true one since the late 2000’s...
