it's a given. taunting is the easiest tech to call.

I mean I can see Fatts trash talking on many occasions, so if you are fine with those calls going on him as well, fine. Me, I'd rather err on the side of letting the kids show more emotion.

Quick observations...

- The high school gym atmosphere of playing in front of a few hundred at Rose Hill just sucks the life out of us. Doesn't matter what team or what year.
- Walker reminds me of how Scott Hazelton was the early part of his career. Very tentative and seems like he's in his head (and subsequently out of the game).
- A pick and roll lob to Toppin is there on almost every possession and I can't understand why Rhody doesn't try that.
- Why don't we press these guys and build a lead?
- The pace of this game reminds me of a pick-up game.
- Fatts or Jeff should drive to the hoop every possession on these guys.

Um can Walker just stand under the basket and rebound? Bad things happen when he is touching or egad trying to dribble the ball.

taunting should be a tech no matter what the name on your shirt is. i don't make the rules, but this is one i actually don't mind. players need to learn how to express emotion with celebration not taunting.

This game has the same feel as the Brown and St Joe's away games. Playing sloppy and uninspired, certainly not looking like a team fighting for an ncaa birth.

I think if they just trash-talked without the gestures...they'd be ok, but they can't help themselves.
