Right now the competition showing the most interest is Cincy.
He has been turned off by a few of the schools when he did unofficial visits.
He is looking for a school that has a need for a big, has made that an important priority and that he is a priority recruit for that spot.
I read that as Rhody, Rhody, Rhody.
Would be a big plus if he knew someone (Berry).
It seems like he would want to do several official visits before deciding. You never know though if it meets his needs and Cox will try for the commitment.

2021-2022: Walker, Harris, Martin, Toppin, Leggits(?)
Bench=Berry/Wood (1s or 2s) and Odi (4 or 5)

Those are top of the A10, NCAA caliber teams.

That would be awesome. It's probably unlikely that he commits to us on his first official
visit. But it would be great. He seems to be a perfect replacement for CL.

The proverbial light has seemingly come on for this rising senior prospect. Odusipe has always had the physical tools to be a high level prospect but his progress seemed stifled, especially one offense, for one reason or another. This season has been quite the opposite for the 6'9 post presence. Improved effort, better footwork and more aggression on the glass has produced gaudy numbers for Akeem who holds several D1 offers including Georgia Teach, Auburn, Kansas State, Maryland and Miami. He is among the state leaders in blocked shots and has made a concerted effort to avoid the silly early fouls that have plagued him throughout his prep career. He has his Fighting Irish squad ranked among the top programs in the state in their classification and was outstanding this past weekend as his squad welcomed the highly touted IMG Academy program to their gym in Knoxville.

Akeem really would be about the most ideal replacement to CL that you could hope for. He even looks a lot like CL did from his rookie year here.

Akeem has been sick with the flu and out for the last week. His team got hit with the flu and had to reschedule tonight’s game to next Tuesday. Not much feedback because of that.

A bunch of the recruiting sites are basically run by user submission or hype folks, depending on their setups, updates can be sporadic. Like 5 posts above you is an Instagram photo of them in Rhody uniforms, and they've definitely visited.

They definitely visited. I saw them at the VCU game. These sites probably haven't been updated. I think they update more often on the 4 and 5 star recruits. Both of these guys are 3 star.

Akeem would be a great face up 4 - with the Mitchell kids taking care of the middle, he'd thrive here.
Easy to envision Akeem as a Delroy James type player.

Now THAT would give us the size we need.

Odusipe would be the top big man in my opinion over the Mitchell Twins and especially the other bigs we have been recruiting. Berry and Odusipe would be the duo that would help us the most. I obviously would take the Mitchell twins in a minute, but they come with baggage.

I agree and would love to have all 3 but that would take up the remaining 3 schollies so can’t see it.
