The opening line is URI / VCU Pick meaning even up . I expect this line to change later today to favor URI by 1-2 points . Even at that
I would stay away from this one . Have to admit I am surprised at the initial Pick 'em line.

One would have reasonably assumed URI would be a slight favorite given it is a home game and Rhody already beat them on their court weeks earlier. Even more so if you add in the fact that URI has won all but one game in the last eight meetings.

I watched VCU play Richmond the other day and they looked MUCH better than the last time we played them. Richmond shot .500, went 21-25 at the free throw line, and still lost by 20. It was an above average game from VCU but a good win like that will carry some momentum. The freshman Hyland is gonna be a problem in this league. My money is on Rhody +1 but i have a bad feeling about it.
