A friend of mine posted on Facebook about the game. Some Fryuh Fan commented on how “this game should have already been a sell out” and “PC sells this many tickets”. Oh please blow it out your nose.
I think there’s less than 100 tickets left right now a little after 9, if they’re not all gone now.

Looks like less than 100 left on the ryan center ticket by seat. I counted the dots and there are about 65 but i didnt count the obstructed view.

Clearly a VCU fan. I disagree with most of what he said, but still a good quick listen.
Yeah I think the guys that host the show are actually Dayton fans. I hadn’t listened to it before I shared it, but thought it was cool that they did a little mini off-schedule episode just to preview the game. Gives a sense of the stakes. That said, to me it sounded like the guy who did this pod was a little more familiar with VCU’s personnel and that led to some probably unintentional VCU lean to his analysis. I think URI has proved to be a style mismatch for VCU over the last several years, and knowing what this atmosphere is going to be like tonight, I like URI. I didn’t hear him mention either of those things.

In the past the Ryan center gave out student tickets in the morning of night games instead of when the doors open. Is that the case for today’s game? And if so, any word on the line at the Ryan center? I’m thinking at least 1500 tickets to students will go fast!

If they were doing a ticket raffle it would've been announced already. The 1500 tickets should go fast.

LOL, as soon as I saw the previous post, I went right to the site and checked. Seat taken. Win-win either way. The fewer empties the better. As someone said previously (maybe TP), this should be a GREAT Rhody crowd...a packed house, without many visitors a la PC games. Can't wait for tip off...are the doors open yet?

Theyve been pretty high on URI. Everyone has been loving Bones lately, but watching the replay of the last game with VCU, their pressure did nothing to Fatts and Jeff, it actually hurt them and led to a bunch of transition layups.
Another minor superstition- when Jeff comes out on the floor for the opening tap, he goes to the “ruckus basket” and jumps to touch the front of the rim. Every game. I’m ready, let’s go!

Jeff is very superstitious. Before the team leaves the floor during warmup everyone gathers at the FT line and Jeff has to hit a FT. Then they leave.

Students never disappoint. Especially for big games. ESPECIALLY in the post-Hurley renaissance.
I hope they earmarked 2k tickets tonight instead of the usual allotment. I'd bet you'll have 2500 students trying to cram in at a minimum.
