Baylor is pretty clearly the best team in the country right now tho....

The hate on the NET is dumb. It’s better than RPI and your actual ranking doesn’t matter really anyways, only the ranking of who you beat on your schedule.

Think it’s pretty wide open on who is the best team no dominant team out there it’s who gets hot in March

Fourth to last in Minnesota plays at Rutgers at 1 on the Big Ten Network
Minnesota lost 64-56. Bubble teams are 9-8 in games I've tracked

And what do ya know, Baylor #1 in the polls today.
I guess their NET ranking was strong enough to pass the “eye test” :)

Dayton up to #7 today, can they stay in the top 10 til we get a crack at them? It's just the kind of win we need.

Who would you bet if they played on a neutral court-I’ll take Gonzaga, Duke or Kentucky over Baylor.

But that’s not how this works. NCAA committee uses metrics and data points. This started by you saying a Quad 3 win (WKU) was better than a Quad 2 win (UNT) and as of right now that’s just not true.

Tbh I hope WKU and UNT finish 1,2 in CUSA and play to their conference finals as that will be the best for Rhody.

I never mentioned quad wins. That is what you always bring up. I said that Western Kentucky is a better team than North Texas. I don’t get caught up in worrying about North Texas and Western Kentucky. North Texas will not determine whether URI makes the NCAA tournament. There have been many teams who had great RPI’s, when they had them, that got left out of tourney. Bottom line should be worrying about winning games and not losing at George Mason and Fordham and winning tougher road games like St. Bonnie’s that don’t have the marquee names of Dayton or VCU.
