The half court offense runs in slow motion. Like, technically they are running stuff but guys are just jogging thru it like they are installing it in September. The motion is not deliberate, it is like quarter speed.

One of my buddies I'm watching with, who is seeing the team for the first time this year, said to me "do you guys always just sleepwalk through your offense like this?"

I am so impressed with how skilled he is. I hadn’t seen him play before he got on the court here, and he’s a much different type of player than I expected. He’s a really good basketball player - I kind of expected just an athlete, if I’m being honest.

This is a very poorly coached team in-game. On a personal level, I like Cox a lot and I think he does some stuff well, but a team that gives up a 17-2 run at home against a virtually talentless opponent is rudderless. The talent on this team is so much better than La Salle that they will likely just out-talent them to the finish line, but you have a 14 point lead against a team like this at home, that has to be a 25 point laugher and not a nail-biter.

He should have called a timeout ages ago.

As soon as a team starts to get momentum you call a timeout to stymie it.

You should never just wait for the TV timeout.

Going to escape but this second half was one of the worst offensive performances I’ve seen. I’ll take the W and I’m not going to say “can’t do this against....” because that’s not how this works. Still, I think the half court offense needs a ton of work or there is a ceiling for this team.
