Another theory... maybe it’s the shoes. Fatts wore those shiny gold ones to start the year and was on fire. Not sure what he wore for Brown, but he wore plain white ones vs Richmond. Tonight he has a different pair of sweet kicks and is back on track.

Cox and then Fatts barely avoided the T on back to back plays. Cox wisely went to the other end of the court when they called the foul on Cyril, the officials were daring him to say anything. And then, Fatts nearly got one for correctly saying that the official didn't even know who touched the ball last on the out of bounds play. He stopped short, because he was getting really animated.

Those are good signs too. A lot to like about this game, so far.

We are approaching a point where Martin cannot play during crunch time. Silly turnovers, bad shots, missed FTs, dumb fouls. Getting a little wary of the consistency of it.

Can someone explain to me what Jeff is doing? He’s got the ball in his hands 30 feet from the basket with just over a minute left nursing a six point lead. It’s a super important possession.

He waves Martin up to come get the ball and then runs to the other side of the court. Yo, Jeff. This is exactly the situation where we need you with the ball in your hand initiating the offense. And you ask out of the play by asking Martin to take it from you? Martin, the guy we are not even sure should be on the floor in this situation? Predictably, Martin went out of control to the baseline and turned it over.

Wake up Jeff.

Not completely his fault. He got the rock with 6 seconds, approximately, on the shot clock. We need to stop holding the ball late in games

He did have to shoot it. There was less time on the shot clock than the game clock. No issue for me.

Nice bounce back win. Now lets rattle off about 10 more in a row. The Fatts move is still very weird to me, maybe there is more to the story, but I think we won despite that move and not because of it. But who cares, we won!
