I think JimSidd spelled it out.

What went wrong in the Brown game? When we went down by double digits, the first instinct was to stop trying to pound the ball down and just chuck up a bunch of threes. Which is also an abandonment of the Defense. Because basically you are signalling to the other team that you don't believe your Defense is strong enough to hold them or even slow them down, so you need to chuck up a bunch of aimless three pointers to "catch up" that you know aren't going to fall, in desperation.

That was the most disappointing thing about the Brown game. They finally returned to form in the last 5 mins, but too late. They should have never abandoned the game plan in the first place.

I always go early to watch their pre-game routine, although I'm not there today. Every game, Fatts and Dadika shoot from the logo as part of their routine.

They are lucky Richmond has decided to do the same thing this game, and they are almost as bad at outside shooting.

Whatever happened to "the physical A-10 Conference"? It's like Fatts and Toppin and the plodding white guy on Richmond are the only ones that like to initiate contact out there

I've seen Tyrese throw two lazy passes for easy turnovers this game already, and it's early. I think this is something to keep an eye on. As much as Tyrese brings to the table, those are killers against a better team than Richmond.

anyone here still think 14-4 in conference is possible? Effort is there I guess, but this team is just woeful on offense. Why is this staff not able to see that we cant shoot? Our best offense is driving to the basket, we have become a very easy team to "guard".

I asked for ball and player movement pregame: haven’t gotten it so far.
Just one time, I wish someone would grab an offensive rebound with two hands and go up strong, instead of these feeble tip attempts. At worst, he would get fouled.

What kind of play was that to end the half? A 3 for Long....are u kidding me. What a wasted possession. We are not playing smart and are being out coached right now. Dowtin is in a major funk and Fatts is once again being asked to do to much and he is getting tired and frustrated and that’s only going to lead to bad play. We need a more balanced scoring attack. Because we are not a great shooting team we need to get points in the post through Langivine, Harris and Walker. I know Richmond has a tall big man but we have to at least try to attack him.

What happened to the team that would score near 90 points? And is undefeated at home? Shots and free throws are short which means it’s stamina fatigue or muscle fatigue. Something happened.

That was one of the worst performances I have ever seen in a college basketball game . They continue to force up VERY low percentage
shots just hoping it will go in . Martin and Russell are the most guilty of it . I think this game may be over already . What has happened
to this team ? They have to be more patient on offense . They have a team of poor shooters and one of the reasons is shot selection . If I see
another off balance flip it up there shot from Martin or Russell I will vomit. Not one good jump shooter on this team either . I am
not sure I can watch much more of this team and they have 17 more conference games before this season mercifully ends . It is painful to watch.

Not only having Long take the last shot of the half not smart, but didn't Cox still have his use it or lost it time out available?
