Lamont still playing in Europe, Looks a "little" bigger to me. Always liked that team. Delray and Seawright are also still playing.

While our 2019 class is solid, we're not getting that player as far as I can see.

That's what it takes to win the close ones.

That's why UConn won their national championships with Kemba and Napier....and on a much lower level with a similar sized PG for UMass....Chaz Williams....

Fatts being only a sophomore gives us hope for way more late game heroics in the future.

Looks like half the region is on that honorable mention list. It’s kind of interesting that one of the guys on the first team is committed to play football at Davidson. Maybe Bob will draft him as a walk-on.

He’s going to Georgetown

Which seems like the perfect situation for him. Georgetown’s 2019 recruiting class has Wahab at 6’10” and two others at 6’11” plus they have a 7 footer who sat out as a transfer. No secret what drew them all to Georgetown.

I can’t wait for Ewing to roll out his all-center line-up.

Mekhi Second Team. Somehow Ace Baldwin was POY and several KBers have noted he is overrated. Long is on 2nd team with Earl Timberlake. Go look at Timberlake’s videos. The kid is a star.

Wow, Earl Timberlake is one of the best players in the DMV. That makes NO sense. Ace is a good ball player, but I personally believe he is very overrated where he is currently ranked. But what do I know...lol I don’t do this for a living!!

Ace is overrated why? Ace pound for pound is one of the best PG. Playing well on EYBL circuit! Has been very good in HS as well kid is winner too.

I retract my previous statement. I got a chance to see Ace in the playoffs and he made me a believer.

This kid looked really solid. Great court awareness, as he seemed to be in the right place at the right time, he's going to be a good one for us...

In time we can only hope.

As I was told Mekhi is the most ready to contribute now. Hammond mid to late season could contribute. And long term Toppin has highest ceiling.

I'm happy y'all are finally getting a glimpse of what Mekhi can do. He's such an unselfish player. He just wants to win. He's going to make everybody step their game up. Looks like the team is gelling early too. That's a great sign!

No way. No way JT ever did a 360 in a game. Def don’t remember Hass or Stan either. Can’t even remember Stan dunking in any form all that much let alone a 360.

Solid future player and a tough loss, but agreed he was played a reasonable amount of minutes for a freshman with his current skills.

This is sickening. All these transfers are killing what we all like about college basketball. They are shooting themselves in the foot, damaging the game, and killing the golden goose.

Agree with the other posts here - I don't think he would have been an All-A10 level player, but I think he could have been a solid starter and at least a good rotational piece. If he wasn't happy with that, though, well, better that he transfers now than his sophomore or junior year, I suppose.

I think we will encounter this more and more. We brought up a generation of kids where “everyone gets a trophy” these kids want it all and want it now.

This mindset fails to understand that those recruited behind them will want the same play time that they want. How do coaches and teams reconcile that?

Who should Cox have benched so a Freshman Long could get more time? Who’s next?

Instant gratification world, being reflected in college basketball transfers all over. This environment is making it more difficult to be a coach, especially if your strength is team building.
