Providence 2019 NCAA Men's Hockey Regional

Disclaimer.....I know next to nothing about college hockey. It seems to me that the scheduling of these games did not do the attendance/interest any favors. After the regionals, there was almost 2 weeks until the final four. Then when they have the games, they're on Thursday??????? Am I missing something in the big picture? Why not have the games the week after, or on the Fri/Sunday 2 weeks after?

You're expecting too much. Remember in the hierarchy of niches, college hockey is only one small step above (any kind of) soccer....
