Same day again?
Don't get it?
wouldn't there be more revenue if 2 separate dates? wouldn't the lights and field turf help?
aren't they 2 different audiences? One-alums and other family of students?
Assuming each day brings in 2000 more fans. (Probably more like 3000).
That's an extra $20-30K per day just in ticket sales?
Not including concessions,gear,hotels,restaurants,etc.?

I'm guessing the University finds this more effective? Not sure, but I always remember it being effective with two separate events.

Re: Homecoming and Family Day
I'm with you, Hal. I found it to be too much to have both on the same day. I realize that there are many alums who also have current students, but that doesn't mean Homecoming and Family Weekend are the same thing. I've taken Family Weekend as an event for parents who are new to the university community? Maybe I am wrong, but I still think it should be two separate events.
