So glad to hear so many fans will be there. For the third year in a row we’ll be heading home from vacation during the A10 semifinals. Since my wife is in academia we travel during spring break a lot. Maybe next year.

Well, turns out I'm going to have a business commitment tomorrow during the game. Probably won't get to catch any of it except the last part of the 2nd half. Super bummed about this, but what can I do. Looking for the dub, then game Friday, and then my plan HOPEFULLY is to Amtrak it down Saturday morning and stay somewhere night to see them play Sunday.

URI beat West Virginia a long time ago, had our “ups”, “downs” and now “ups” again since the WVU game but WVU has been a LOT of downs until today.......when Huggins upset Oklahoma in the first round. Made things very difficult for the Sooners on selection Sunday.

Got to love this time of year. Conference tournaments are great.

.......I think the hot shooting will level off a bit, but still enough % to keep us in the lead.....defensive intensity will be there......gotta make free throws, avoid the scoring droughts.....not exactly a news flash here, but how I see it with a cover......Go Rhody!!

What ever the outcome today, the previous four games somewhat salvaged this season for me and gave me some hope for next year. That five game losing streak before then and the different ways they lost those games had sapped all life and energy out of the program. A strong finish helped to mitigate that. While the competition for three of these four games was lower, the tough OT win at Dayton stands out to counter that.

I’m with RF1. I see the tournament as gravy. Very much would like to win today and then after that I’m not expecting any miracles. But even if they go cold today and lose a close one, it won’t change my overall feeling about the season.

After the VCU game I was very worried that we might not win another game. I felt a little better after the effort against Davidson, but still didn’t even consider the idea that we could win our last four, so I’ve already been pleasantly surprised. When times were tough, I said I wanted to see some signs of life to give me hope for next year, and I’ve got that regardless of what happens today or tomorrow. I’m hoping for the best but I’m not emotionally bound up in winning this game today.

i'll back 105 on this. while the last 2 weeks have renewed hope, a win today will leave a good taste regardless of what happens the rest of the way. a loss today will revive unpleasant memories of the previous month. i'll be renewing my season tix regardless of the outcome, but I'm not lowering expectations now.

My only point is you can’t rule out a random clunker for a team that is still so inexperienced. Hoping it doesn’t happen today, but if it does it won’t diminish the overall sense I got from the last couple weeks that the pieces are there.

Cheap T on Cyril. He still however has to keep his emotion in check. That has been an issue in a few games. Tate's taunting in the Fordham game was another example.

I watched the play. I did not see anything tech-worthy in his reaction. These refs need to get a grip. Every time a guy shows emotion they tech them up. The guy that tech’d Tate up earlier this year should be in jail.
