Received a recorded voice mail from David Cox today on A-10 tickets and renewing season tickets as they continue their championship ways. What a joke. Zero percent chance of renewing tickets and even less of travelers by to A-10 tourney to get embarrassed again. Long rebuild ahead. Expect many players and hopefully coaches to leave. Guys who graduated last year must be like WTF

I was at the Civic Center when we scored 7 points in the first half against Temple. I wonder if the VCU coach will pull a Chaney and go to the URI locker room and console our players?

Maybe he was tired after scouting the Davidson game earlier on TV. He must have done the scout on this game too

Wow that was rough. I expected a difficult year but I never expected to have so many games where the team would look like they gave up,or never wanted to be there in the first place. I said at the start of the year that even if they lose at least they will be entertaining. Not anymore. 6 more turnovers than field goals is unwatchable for most. But I’m loyal to the end so will be there past my bedtime on Friday, although I won’t look forward to the game as I should.

Losses piling up is bad enough. Getting frequently blown out by 20- 30 points and losing to the bottom of the league teams is however a total embarrassment. There are some serious problems with this program right now. Cox seems over matched and doesn't seem to know right now how to get things back on track. Every metric is going south fast. Have to wonder if the players have checked out. They are certainly playing with absolutely no pride with the poor efforts being put forth.

STAT OF THE DAY: after a quick scan of the gorhody record book - tonight marks the 1st time since the 2013-2014 season that URI Men's bball program falls under .500 overall. I knew going into the season there would be growing pains and such. But, I have no words for the past 2 weeks and offense. Even a Blue man battle cry/pep talk can't help after tonight.

ETA: For those on the 'rebuilding' train (this is where the vomit emoji would come in handy)...did your idea of rebuilding include the possibility of a 5 year low as noted above?
