No way. It sucks to lose a game when you’re ahead by that much, but the reality is that Duquesne isn’t terrible and they played a terrible first half a very good second half. The UMass loss was much, much worse. First of all, UMass is terrible and second of all at least we played 20 good minutes tonight.

I’m not at all surprised that Duquesne made that a game, but I’m honestly pretty stunned that we lost. I wasn’t really worried until Martin got blocked at the rim with about 20 seconds left - until then I was pretty sure we’d put a couple plays together and win it. You see teams use all their gas getting back into the game all the time, and I thought that would happen to Duquesne.

We were up by 19. This is the worst loss this year by far.

Tough loss. Fatts needs to figure out where he fits into this offense. An ISO guard clearly isn’t the role.

This team really needs to re-examine the small details and rethink the rotations being used. Saw some new looks that worked in the first half but we came out way overconfident in the second.

First possession was a lazy travel by Cyril and he laughed. Played a great game but that will always piss me off. Poor play isn’t funny. Team needs a reality check. Seems they believe they are better than they actually are. Hopefully these two losses are that reality check.

It isn’t even close to Stanford in the great 8 in 1998. If they won or lose this game it didn’t really matter in the big picture other than that their confidence must be sapped and we just don’t seemed to be improving other than Martin. Talk about a yawner on Saturday with St.Louis now as they pretty wrecked any chances they had losing tonight.
