Their interior guys are sealing off our bigs in penetration, preventing them from helping. Obviously that is illegal but they aren’t calling it so we are going to have to do a better job keeping them out of the paint in the first place. I’d consider a zone even though that presents a problem with Pierre. Just have to know where he is and get a hand in his face. It’s too easy for them to get buckets in close right now.

This is the most frustrating game I’ve seen in awhile. Just an overall poor effort.

Lazy passing & anemic defense. All of their made threes had no Rhody player within 10 feet of the shooter.

I thought we were turning a corner but this is a big reminder of how young we still are.

UMass might be the worst team in the A10. This is an embarrassing showing. Losses always look ugly but this was a failure on almost every level. The inept defense is the most surprising and the most disappointing.

Theres always a serious chance there is going to be a disaster.

I am not surprised.

I will be shocked if we come back and win.

Umass 0-6 desperate for a win and we are playing our best basketball of the season?

Not really surprised by today. The last three straight wins were actually more of a surprise. This is just an inconsistent team that you never know what type of effort it may produce on any given day. The stink of that GMU loss will now have a bookend.
