Not to go too far off topic...but is anyone else a bit stunned Maine was the outright conference champs? They did not overly impress me when they came to Meade Stadium.

Agreed RF3.
Big loss (should have won). Delaware also.
Rhody has more talent than a # of these teams in playoffs.

We had them beat with our back up QB

No Rhody players or Coaches nominated. I would have liked to have seen Parker up there for offense. Looking at some of the numbers I can understand why he was left off.

A record 6 teams from the CAA got in this year. That is 25% of the total 24 teams from 1 conference

Maine - Conference Champion
James Madison (8-3)
Delaware (7-4)
Towson (7-4)
Elon (6-4)
Stony Brook (7-4)

We came very close to getting in the playoffs this year. Too bad we lost our QB for so many games

I'd like to ask the HC if he could have one single play back that he could do over again which one would it be and why?
I know which one I would change.
Great season for URI - picked to finish at the bottom of the CAA and just barely missed the FCS Playoffs

It's not definite that we go to the playoffs by switching the Maine result, but you'd think we'd have a better case than Delaware since we beat them head to head

Results are in...

No one on defense is a snub to me. Dorsey should be first team in my opinion. No other complaints. Pretty good run. You could argue Fleming COY as well. Thoughts??

URI picked to finish 12th finished 7th. Maine picked to finish 8th finished 1st. Easy decision.

I can’t give COY to Fleming over the Maine HC because Maine beat us.
Fleming’s decision to kick out of the end zone with 50 seconds to go and the ball on the Maine 35 was not smart.
COY went to the right guy.

Yeah I completely agree. Maine won the conference after being picked to finish 8th. No brainer. It has just been discussed in this forum before so I brought it up.
Glad to see Parker First-Team. He’s a star.
