The next new invention should be like photos that hang on your wall, but instead of being still photos they are gifs that play on infinite repeat. And when I invent that (don't you dare steal my idea), this sequence may go up in my office.

Either the Fatts play or the EC shot/Hurley reaction is going to be part of One Shining Moment. And it's going to make me so sad. Bizarre feeling. Feels like the Oklahoma game was three years ago.

If Fatts leaves he’ll ruin my favorite 20 second video ever. I will literally take the next 2 weeks off drop at least a million go the New Orleans, Jamaica , and then Jerusalem spending money on every f’d up Cajun voodoo shit Rastaman jinks then off to the holy land to find some cult that started before Jesus was born to curse that young man from never ever ever making a three pointer again for screwing with my favorite 20 seconds. The announcer's reaction and the crowd noise is amazing. These are the clips we will see in twenty years, reminds me of watching the Kenny Green Dunk or the Lamar Odom game-winner.

I've said it a million times, but one of my absolute favorite moments in all of sports was last year when EC damn near broke that poor Davidson kid's ankles on his way to a thunderous flying dunk. Up to that point he looked a little tentative coming back from his injury, but once he made that play I knew that the old EC was back.

100% agree ^^ Fatts also puts butts in seats, he is the type of player casual fans will pay to watch. Everyone likes a small guy with that kind of swag.

What is with the Fatts chatter? I feel like this is the second day in a row that people have made a show of worrying about Fatts. Is it just general concern or am I missing something? FWIW, Fatts had a live IG yesterday where he (and other players) were in the Ryan Center and in the locker room playing around, I think he was wearing somebody else's jersey or something...IDK, didn't seem like a dude that was about to bounce out of here. I guess people want these guys to publicly state they are not planning on going anywhere or something, but that isn't their job. The expectation is that anyone that was supposed to be here will be here unless they say otherwise. No news is good news. But if I'm missing something, please let me know.

He does have good sources. I also thought he said that his source were worried about a departure, but didn't say who.

Since Adams announced he was asking for his release and my assumption is that was in the works from the time it was announced Dan was going to UConn, I assumed that was what his source was referring to. So I took his comment about Fatts to be more just a general feeling: I hope Fatts doesn't leave. I hope he doesn't leave too. Is there more to the story than that, or is that it?

There's like 8 people on this board who know anything - the last month or so should've plainly spelled that out for any newcomers - but when one of them posts something that could be positive or neutral; everyone doubts it and needs physical evidence, references, as well as the names, addresses, and contact information for their sources.

When someone posts a tin-foil conspiracy theory that lines up with a worst case scenario and repeats it, that gets legs and is taken as fact.

This board is the most wild frontier on the internet.

I never had sources in the past. I got sources now. Took 30 years and a couple years of season tickets. Now I get a trickle. But my sources came through on multiple things the past few months.

Still feel bad for Fatts. As a freshman making his first trip around the league, he was visibly upset on the road out at Dayton when the fans chanted that his coach would not be there next year. Hurley at the time told him to pay no attention to it and ignore it. Just six weeks later, Hurley abandons Fatts and confirms that the chants were true.
