Here's a report of the Executive Search Firm being hired by UCONN. Weird that it's dated today, since I would think that if they hired a Search Firm, it would have been done prior to offering the basketball job to another coach.

If UConn selected them today, wouldn't that be a clue that Dan isn't going there?

For all we know, Dan could have eliminated them a while ago. Just a thought.

Dated today but the info is a little late considering they are mentioning Tom Crean as a possible candidate.

As I've said before, tea leaves are just that, Dan will leak to one of two reporters he trusts to leak these things once an announcement is official.

Original plan was thought to be a Thursday announcement, but that it could come tonight...or that it could come in a couple of days because Louisville could start a domino affect that opens up opens up Xavier, Sparty, Florida or Notre Dame if everything broke a certain way.

What I can say is no one knows anything with regards to an exact decision or time, and anyone having insider info saying "confirmed" or "done deal" needs to sit on a couch and talk through their issues with voices in their heads.

It's between Dan, Andrea, and his agent. Really no one outside of Dan or Andrea will know anything until it's announced through the proper channels.

I lived in and around NYC for most of my life. I was always kind of arrogant when it came to the best pizza debate, thinking NY was the best hands down. I heard about how great New Haven pizza was for a long time, and I would laugh it off. I moved to the New Haven area around 5 years ago...and now I would take New Haven's best pizza any day over NY. So, for all of those years I was wrong. Of course, it's just my opinion but New Haven style is my favorite. Pepes, Modern, Sallys, Bar, and others...lots of great choices. I haven't tried RI pizza other than what was on campus 20+ years ago, but I've heard great things.

More importantly...really hoping Hurley stays with us. Let's go Rhody!

ETA: was thinking media, not board member, although if it is a board member who has the reputation to break it and have people believe it, I will credit that if it turns out correct.
