I must say it must be intimidating when all the Duke players tower over you. They look to be six inches to a foot taller than everyone but Berry. But you think they could use their agility and smallness to maneuver and weave in and through the BIG Duke players.

Right. This isn't 1991 Duke. This duke team lost to saint John's, va tech, BC. Our guards are better. We could beat Duke maybe 3 out of 10 times. Maybe this was one of the seven. I just didn't expect this.

We just can't hang with Duke on this day. They are just too big, too athletic, and too talented. Nice run this year but it comes to rude end today. Thank you seniors for all the great memories. You will always be remembered and are part of the Rhody family forever.

3 times? No way. Maybe one time out of 20 if everything fell right. Playing a team in the regular season is not the same as the tournament. St. John's/VA Tech/BC wouldn't beat Duke in the tournament either. Fluke games happen but that's what they are, flukes.

They lost 6 ACC games. Let's not underrated the guards. Bad game plan. Middle is still wide open. Was their front court a bad matchup? Yes. But our guards should have been too.

They lost 6 ACC games. Let's not underrated the guards. Bad game plan. Middle is still wide open. Was their front court a bad matchup? Yes. But our guards should have been too.

There's no game plan that can defend against a team that has this kind of height advantage and who isn't missing shots.

I'd like to see the statistics on basket attempts vs the ones that went in including FTs. We have had plenty of opportunities to make points. The baskets just aren't going in whereas theirs are.

They have 3 guards that Will be playing in the NBA next year so ours are not better. Deeper, yes, but not better.

Just a horrible matchup for URI. Would have loved to play any other team in the country

Yeah 4-guard lineup works if you're the Golden State Warriors, but big men can still control the game in college. An uphill battle in the coming years unless we can build up the frontcourt. Just so little margin for error with a smaller lineup, you need to consistently shoot 40% from deep.

That said, a great season we shouldn't knock based only on this one game.

because their height is affecting our shots. even when you our players are open, they are worried about the shot blockers coming.

Danny went off on a rebounding foul on Terrell in the first half. Did not receive 2 Ts. in fact, didn't even receive one.

In some cases but certainly that isn't the case at the free throw line. There is no excuse for all our missed shots there.
